9/16/14 at 6:57 a.m. A traffic stop on Locust and 25th Streets, Sterling, IL, resulted in the arrest of Crystal Y. Parks, 37, of Sterling, for Driving While License Suspended. She was released with a Notice to Appear.
09-15-14 at 12:40 a.m. Glenn L. Howard, age 42 of Lyndon, IL, was stopped on Moline Road east of Lyndon for speeding. He was arrested for Speeding 73/55 MPH and two counts of DUI. He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond. R & K Towing assisted on scene.
9/15/14 at 11:46 a.m. Jimmy W. Mays, Jr., 53, of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested in the 1700 block of E. Route 30 for Battery and Criminal Trespass to Land. He was released with a Notice to Appear.
09-13-14 at 11:35 p.m. Zachery J. McGee, age 20 of Sterling, IL, was arrested in rural Sterling for Possession of Cannabis Less than 2.5 Grams during an investigation into a suspicious vehicle. He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he posted bond and was released, while the vehicle was removed by Slim-N-Hank’s Towing.
09-13-14 at 11:30 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash at Gaulrapp and Chase Roads, rural Erie, IL. A 16-year-old Erie Male lost control of the truck he was driving, and it entered the south ditch, where it impacted an embankment and tree before coming to rest. The driver was not injured in the crash and was ultimately cited for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and No Valid Driver’s License–Graduated License Curfew Violation.
9-13-14 at 7:55 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Morrison, IL, for Speeding. Upon further investigation Georgio L. Miller, age 21 of Dubuque, IA, was cited for Speeding as well as No Valid Driver’s License. Miller was later released with a Notice to Appear. Hunter’s Towing assisted on scene.
09-13-14 at 7:45 p.m. Rosalie A. Hall, age 50 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested for Open Burn Violation while burning shingles on her property. She was issued a Notice to Appear and released on bond.
09-13-14 at 12:55 a.m. Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Cattail Road north of Schafer Road, Fulton, IL. Mark A. Wiebenga, age 50 of Fulton, was driving too fast and lost control of his vehicle, as it entered the east ditch and ultimately struck a utility pole. Mark was arrested for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and rwo counts of DUI. He was processed and released on bond. Fulton Police, ComEd, and Midwest Towing assisted on scene.
09-12-14 at 10:58 p.m. Brett J. Wilson, age 26 of Morrison, IL, was stopped for an equipment violation and arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. His Driver’s License was posted as bond.
9/10/14 at 3:02 p.m. A traffic stop in the 200 block of Locust Street, Sterling, IL, resulted in the arrest of Crystal Y. Parks, 37, of Sterling, for Driving While License Suspended. She was released with a Notice to Appear.
09-10-14 at 1:40 a.m. Spiko George Houmpavlis, age 24 of Skokie, IL, was stopped for a crosswalk violation in Prophetstown, IL. He was arrested for No Driver’s License on Person and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. An I-bond was posted.
09-09-14 at 4:35 a.m. Andrea M. Velazquez, age 45 of Rock Falls, IL, was stopped on U. S. Route 30 for speeding. She was arrested for Speeding 66/55 MPH and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Her Driver’s License was posted as bond.
09-09-14 at 12:01 a.m. Lisa L. Paulsen, age 44 of Forreston, IL, was arrested in Fulton, IL, for Inoperative Rear Registration Light and Driving While License Revoked. She was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond. Midwest Towing assisted on scene.
