9-14-17 at 9:26 a.m. Emily Ann Ishmael, age 29 of Sterling, IL, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for No Headlights When Required (Fog) on U. S. Route 30 near Blue Goose Road, Sterling. Ishmael was arrested for an Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear–DUI, taken into custody, and transferred to Ogle County without incident.
9-18-17 at 7:48 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint in rural Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Micah P. Buyno, age 34 of Sterling, was arrested for Criminal Trespass to Real Property. Buyno was processed at the Whiteside County Jail, where he was released with a Notice to Appear.
9/22/17 at 9:33 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Fulton, IL, on a Chevy Impala with its rear registration light out. Upon further investigation, John L. Muszynski, age 25 of Wisconsin, was arrested on two valid Wisconsin Warrants, for Failure to Appear for Felony Bail Jumping. Muszynski was taken to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed without incident and held in lieu of bond.
9/22/17 at 10:01 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Lyndon, IL, on a Chevy truck for speeding. Upon further investigation, James C. Sorensen, age 21 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Sorensen was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed without incident and released with a Notice to Appear. Hunters Towing assisted on scene.
9-23-17 at 1:29 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a disturbance in the Sterling area. Upon further investigation, Tyrone L. Long, age 40 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Long was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond.
9-23-17 at 2:07 a.m. Candy L. Rausch, age 41 of Morrison, IL, was stopped on U. S. Route 30 west of Morrison for speeding. She was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released with a Promise to Comply. Candy also received a warning for Speeding and Failure to Notify Secretary of State of address change.
9-23-17 at 3:40 a.m. A 17-year-old Morrison Male was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 west of Morrison, IL. He was cited for No Valid Driver’s License–Graduated License Curfew Violation and released to his parents, pending a future court date.
9-23-17 at 9:30 p.m. Jason A. Chapman, age 41 of Sterling, IL, was cited for Violation of Driver’s License Classification–No motorcycle license, while operating a motorcycle. He was stopped for speeding on W. Lincolnway near Galt Road and cited for the above offense. Rock Falls Police and Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
9-24-17 at 1:36 a.m. Nicole M. Rutherford, age 23 of Polo, IL, was arrested for two counts of DUI following an investigative traffic stop in Rock Falls. She was processed for the DUI and released on bond without incident. Rock Falls Police, Sterling Police, and Williams’s Towing assisted on scene.
9-24-17 at 9:24 p.m. Alvin Jody Moeller, age 57 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for two counts of DUI, following the report from a private citizen of a possibly impaired driver. Moeller was processed and released on bond without incident. Sterling Police and Williams’s Towing assisted.
9-24-17 at 10:56 p.m. Jessica N. Davila, age 29 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested on an outstanding Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear–DUI. She was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail.
