Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, September 12, 2014.
Arrests:
On Tuesday, September 16, at approximately 2:05 p.m., Morrison Police were requested to assist the Morrison Community Hospital Emergency Medical Services (ambulance) at 631 E. Lincolnway, Apt. A, Morrison, IL, regarding a possible case of neglect to a disabled elderly female. The female was taken by ambulance to Morrison Community Hospital, later transferred to CGH in Sterling, IL, and eventually transferred to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford, IL. As a result of the investigation, on September 22, 2014, Jeremey T. Russie, age 37 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Criminal Neglect of an Elderly Person, a Class 3 Felony. Russie was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
