Do you have a product or service that the Federal Government could use, once the Thomson Correctional Facility opens? You must register to do so, and there are two upcoming trainings to help. Someone will sell food to feed staff and inmates. A business will repair lawn mowers and vehicles used on the grounds. Who will sell office supplies to the employees?
The Federal Government is looking for contractors to answer such questions. However, suppliers of goods and services must be registered to do business with the Government. Women, minorities, and businesses in underserved communities have an advantage, due to employment selection quotas that must be met.
Instructor Vicky Miller stated, “Numerous businesses sell to the Government for billions of dollars. Th[ese] training session[s] will show you how to put a successful bid package together to increase your opportunities to sell to the Federal Government.”
