Cotton candy, funnel cakes, and lemon shake-ups are once again headed to Sterling, IL. The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce annual carnival runs Tuesday, June 4, through Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Northland Mall in Sterling.
The Chamber Carnival will bring 14 rides and more than a dozen concessions this year. This fundraiser supports future Shop Local, business programming, and scholarships. If you’re looking for a great family event to kick-off the summer, be sure to stop by the carnival!
Hours for the carnival are listed below.
Tuesday, June 4: 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. **$20 unlimited armband rides all day.**
Wednesday, June 5: 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. **$20 unlimited armband rides all day.**
Thursday, June 6: 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. **$20 unlimited armband rides all day.**
Friday, June 7: 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. **$20 unlimited armband rides all day.**
Saturday, June 8: Noon to 11:00 p.m. **OPTION 1: $20 unlimited armband rides Noon to 5:00 p.m.**
**OPTION 2: $29 unlimited armband rides 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.** $20
Armbands can be purchased for $20 during select times every day. Armbands allow purchasers to ride selected rides for an unlimited number of times. Individual ride coupons are also available for purchase, but some rides will require more than one ticket. In addition, family packs of 20 tickets can be purchased for $20 throughout the entire carnival.
The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce represents nearly 370 area businesses in more than 20 cities in northwestern Illinois and in Clinton and Davenport, IA.
