The results of the Saturday, December 27, 2014, morning action at the Warkins Classic Tourney wasn’t the best way to begin a weekend for the Morrison Fillies. Coming off a well-played Friday night win, December 26, the Fillies struggled against the full-court pressure of the Monmouth-Roseville Titans. The Morrison High School team turned the ball over 12 times in the first quarter and fell behind by 20 points after one period.
Another nine turnovers in period two closed the first half with the Fillies down by a 34-11 deficit.
The Fillies played the Titans even the second half, but the damage was done. The Titans eased to a 57-35 win in the second round of action at the Warkin Cardinal Classic.
