Ruth L. Bush, 72, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at her home.
Ruth was born January 15, 1943, in Flora, IL, to Albert R. and Lucille (Rhoades) Crumbacher. She was educated in the Flora Grade Schools and was a 1961 graduate of Flora High School. Ruth married Larry R. Bush on December 7, 1962, in Morrison. She was first employed by Climco Coils in Morrison, and later by General Electric and Morrison Community Hospital Dietary Department, both in Morrison. Most recently, she worked at Wahl Clipper in Sterling, IL, until retiring in 2004. Ruth was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sterling, and was a volunteer at the church’s food pantry. She enjoyed flowers, reading, gardening, and canning, especially pickles. Ruth was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; two daughters, Dawn Bush and Lori (Tim) Matlack of Morrison; one son, Jonathon (Rhonda) Bush of Morrison; four grandchildren, Nicole Becker, Amanda Suarez, Brian Suarez, and Aubrey Bush; two great-grandchildren, Caiden and Carson Becker; one sister, Dee (Jeff) DeGroot of Morrison; one brother, Bill (Patti) Crumbacher of Flora, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Robin Bush; two sisters, Mary Nobles and Nova Parker; one brother, Albert Ross Crumbacher, Jr. in infancy.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
