Our Rotary Club March 2025 Students of the Month are Morrison High School Seniors Madi Armitage and Alli Ferguson. Well done, ladies! Pictured left-to-right are Madi, Alli, and Rotary Club President-Elect Ellen Smith.
Madi is the daughter of Leslie and Andy Harridge and Dan and Jessica Armitage. She has participated for four years in Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, and Student Council and B.L.I.N.D for the last two years. She loves to volunteer at the schools, especially Northside. She loves to color, draw, and hang out with the kids at Northside School and working with her Intern class. Madi received a Softball Athletic Scholarship at Sauk Valley College. She will major in Elementary Education and minor in Psychology. She then plans to transfer to Illinois State University to continue her education.
Alli is the daughter of Angie and Shane Ferguson. She has participated in Key Club for two years and FFA for four years; she was a cheerleader for three years. FFA has given her opportunities to assist with meal drives and also rake yards. Her hobbies are baking, crafts, building with Legos bricks, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with family members. Alli has been working at Morrison Veterinary Clinic, which has fueled her passion for Veterinary Medicine. She will attend Blackhawk College for two year,s and then continue her education at UW Platteville, in Wisconsin.
