Rotary Brings Student from Thailand

KritExchangeStudentRock Falls, and Morrison, IL, Rotary Clubs have sponsored an exchange student through the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. 

Kritsana Jedjinda is from Thailand; call him Krits for short.   He speaks at least three other languages, including English, Japanese, and some Chinese.

He is a Senior student this year at Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison.

Jedjinda will stay with three host families during his time here.  His first host family is Dr. Suellen and Tanner Girard, shown picking up their teen visitor at the airport. 

Krits was on a soccer team in Thailand.  He looks forward to learning about, and being a part of, the Mustang Football team this year.  He says he likes all sports.

He also performs traditional Thai dances.  His group performed for the Rotary International meeting.  Jedjinda signed up to play the drums in band.
