Rose D. Marshall, 78, of Clinton, IA, died Monday, January 8, 2018, at her home.
Rose was born May 15, 1939, in Merrill, WI, to Amos and Anna Ruth (Langdon) Tobias. She attended school in Merrill. On April 13, 1957, she married Leroy K. Marshall in Antigo, WI. Rose did in-home care, retiring in 1995. She loved traveling and listening to old country and polka music. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her dog, Isabella.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy; one son, Leland (Shelly Lawrence) Marshall, Sr. of Clinton; six daughters, Ruth Brown of Clinton, Eileen (David) Herrmann of Clinton, Linda Stiner of Clinton, Bernice (Alan) McLain of Morrison, IL, Suzanne (Jason) Shadle of Clinton, and Carolann (Tim) Manon of Fulton, IL; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Delores Smart of Mt. Vernon, IL, Cora (Jerry) Gerloff of Freeport, IL, Barbie (DeWayne) Wenzelow of Wausau, WI, and Ruby Stroup of Arizona; two brothers, Leonard (Mary) Tobias of Clinton and Donald Tobias of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren in infancy; four sisters; one brother; seven half-sisters.
The funeral service will be at noon Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Pastor Bobb Barrick, Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Clinton, IA, will officiate.
Interment will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery in rural Morrison, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial.
