Ronald Dean Peppers, age 68 of Rock Falls, IL, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at his home.
Ronald was born on August 8, 1948, in Phillips County, AR, the son of Willie and Inez (Tidwell) Peppers. He married Paula Franks on August 23, 1967, in Como, IL. He was a roofer with Union Local 11.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; his mother, Inez Peppers of Sterling, IL; three sons, Donald (Jennifer) Peppers, Jerry Peppers, and Paul (Tammy) Peppers, all of Rock Falls; two sisters Sharon (Gary) Handel of Sterling and Susan Blue of Arkansas; three brothers, William (Judy) Peppers of Byhalia, MS, Jack (Diane) Peppers of Morrison, IL, and Eric (Michelle) Peppers of Arkansas; his step-mother Avanel Peppers of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren: many nieces and nephews; special friend, Telma Hall.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Wayne Peppers; one sister, Lisa Henson; a great-grandson.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue, Rock Falls, IL.
The funeral will follow on Monday, March 27, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., in the funeral home, with Reverend Dalmus Meeks officiating.
Burial will conclude at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling, IL.
