Come out to Cross Creek Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road, Morrison, IL, Saturday, April 16, 2016, for great food, prizes, and fun at “Rockin’ the Rockwood Trail Trivia Night,” a Friends of the Parks fundraiser, benefiting the Morrison-Rockwood Recreational Trail. Trivia Night will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with registration, food, and drinks. Quizmaster Adam Smith will kick off the Trivia at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $10 per person. For an additional $10 per person, a buffet dinner will be available from 5:30 to 7:00. It will feature delicious BBQ and MaidRite sandwiches; au gratin potatoes; baked beans; two salads. Second helpings are on the house!
Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Dessert Dash auction, which will feature cakes, pies, cookies, and pastries.
As an added attraction, students from the Morrison High School Scholastic Bowl team have volunteered to let you “Buy A Brain” for the night. A live auction to bid on these young minds will take place at 6:30. Any team may bid on the students. With the additional brilliance supplied by these young people, your team is bound to come out on top!

Please have your team name and players’ names ready, as well as how many members of your team plan to purchase dinner.
Don’t have others who share your interest in trivial knowledge? No problem. Teams are always looking for members. Just contact Barb Benson at friendsoftheparksmorrison@gmail.com and register as a single participant or partial team for $10 each. If you register your team name and players’ names by Monday, April 11, you will get a free Trivia mulligan.
Door prizes will be given away, and you have a chance to win a 50/50 raffle. Bring your smart phone for the lightning round! Prizes will be awarded to the top team.
