Conservation Police Supervisor Sergeant Phil Wise reported “the conditions which prompted the Restricted Boating Area designation on the Rock River in Ogle, Lee, and Whiteside Counties are no longer as significant. Ogle, Lee, and Whiteside Sheriff’s Departments concur with the assessment.”
He added, “I recommend that Restricted Boating Area designation be lifted for the Rock River in Ogle, Lee, and Whiteside Counties effective at 5:00 p.m., on July 31, 2017.
