roberta dillinRoberta “Bobbie” Kaye Dillin, 74, of Erie, IL, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at her home.

Bobbie K. was born October 7, 1939, in Erie, the daughter of Robert C. and Lilah (Brown) Hunter. She married Robert G. Dillin at the Erie United Methodist Church on September 13, 1957. Bobbie worked for GE in Morrison, IL, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Erie Christian Church. She belonged to the II Car Club and County Line Cruisers with her husband, Bob. Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting, collecting and making angels and porcelain dolls, and traveling. As a longtime cancer survivor, she was a supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; four children and their spouses, Robert J. Dillin, Erie, Jody Dillin, Erie, Jill (Dan) Snyder, Colona, IL, Shelly (Curt) Schroeder, Morrison; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Juanita (Ron) Kuykendall, Fenton, IL, Robert C. (Anita) Hunter, Erie, Sharon (Jerry) Partin, Erie, and Jim (Sherry) Hunter, Cambridge, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carmen Hunter; grandson, Nathan Snyder.

Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m., Friday November 1, 2013, at Erie Christian Church, Erie, IL

Visitation:  from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday October 31, 2013, at Erie Christian Church, Erie, IL

Burial will be in the Erie, IL, Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Fire Department and Ambulance Service.
