Robert H. “Bobbie” Williams, 90, of Fulton, IL, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Resthave Home, Morrison, IL.
Robert was born September 6, 1924, in Sterling, IL, to Harry E. and Kathryn (Hermes) Williams. He was educated in the Morrison grade schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School in Morrison. Bob married Annabelle VanZuiden. She died November 27, 1975. He then married Alta Mae Wiersema on February 16, 1979, in Fulton. She died April 29, 1980. He then married Marilyn J. VenHuizen-Temple on July 24, 1981 in Fulton. Bob was first employed as a truck driver hauling produce and later started his trucking business, which was primarily hauling grain for farmers. He continued as a truck driver until retiring in 1991. Bob was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, where he served as elder, deacon, and choir member. Bob enjoyed playing competitive marbles and participated in the Illinois State Championship match. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and football. Bob also enjoyed refinishing furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; one son, Larry (Barb) Williams of Pelham, AL; two stepdaughters, Debbie (Charlie) Letcher and Joetta Ericksen both of Fulton; one stepson, Irvin Wiersema of Fulton; ten step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry E. (Linda) Williams, Jr. of Los Alamos, NM.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Annabelle and Alta Mae; one stepson, Clarence “Shorty” Wiersema; three sisters, Viola Welch, Lucille Byers, and Dorothy Scudder; two brothers, Harvey and Richard Williams.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, IL

VISITATION: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
