Morrison Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting ceremony, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 for NAMI Sauk Area. NAMI stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness. This organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life, for people with mental illness and their families, through support, education, and advocacy.
Board members shared all the great services they provide for our community. Support groups are available for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. There are family group meetings, to support those living with someone with mental health issues. Connections group sessions bring together those going through recovery. Hotlines are available for mental health crises and suicide concerns.
