On Thursday, December 10, 2020, Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, received a donation of $1000 from the Church Women United of Sterling and Rock Falls and Leona Dirks.
“Resthave plans to use this donation to help raise our residents’ and staff’s spirits by having a Winterfest! Stay tuned for information on this event,” stated Karla Burn.
A benevolent, female, Christmas angel gave $1,000,000 to Church Women United of Sterling and Rock Falls, so they group could make donations to area businesses.
The donation was accompanied with the following message.
“We would like to thank everyone at your facility for their dedication to our elderly, during this 2020 pandemic, and present you with this check. Many thanks to all of you for your caring hearts and for remaining strong and faithful in your good works. [Also for] giving your employees the physical and emotional strength they need for their jobs. You’re like angels all around us, often unnoticed until we need you. God Bless.”
Burn added, “And God bless you, Church Women and Leona Dirks!”
