Several of Resthave Home’s Assisted Living gentlemen had an outing to the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge/Ingersoll Wetland Learning Center in Thomson, IL, on Monday, July 23, 2018.
Residents are asked to give suggestions for activities and outings. This trip was due to the men’s group that suggested the outing.
Residents had a private tour and thoroughly enjoyed the day! They finished the beautiful day with lunch at Dusty’s in Thompson.
Pictured left-to-right on the golf cart are Clayton Deter, Ray Dykstra, Marvin Geerts, Gene Ottens, and Bill Abbott with Guide Pam Steinhaus.
Assisted Living Director Jamie Troutman, left, is pictured with resident Gene Ottens. He scared her when he opened the door to the den. There was a muskrat hidden inside that Jamie wasn’t expecting!
