As of Wednesday, January 20, 2021, Whiteside County Health Department is happy to announce that Region 1 has entered Tier 1 Resurgence Mitigations. Click here to read about Tier 1 Resurgence Mitigations specifics.
Cory Law stated, “We hope to move out of Resurgence Mitigations soon, as well. To do this we must meet all these criteria:
- a test positivity rate below 6.5% for three consecutive days
- staffed hospital and ICU beds above 20% for three consecutive days
- no sustained increase in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 for seven-out-of-ten days.”
