Posted by

On Sunday, November 18, 2012, a community concert, “We Sing for Their Supper,” will be presented at Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, Morrison, IL, at 6:00 p.m., to benefit the Morrison Food Pantry and the Christmas Helping Hands program.  These vital programs in our community help those who struggle in difficult economical times. This ecumenical concert will feature ensembles, choirs, and a variety of musical traditions from each church:  old-fashioned gospel, contemporary music, familiar hymns, and praise anthems.

The concert will end with a combined community choir singing “

  • Ain’t Got Time to Die” with soloist Rich Criss
  • “Bless This House”
  • “Come, Thou Fount of  Every Blessing.”

A free will offering will be received to assist the Food Pantry and Christmas Helping Hands.  As a beginning to the Thanksgiving week, come, celebrate and give.

A time of fellowship will follow the concert.
