Pastor Sun-Ah Kang, of Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, will begin Contemporary Worship Services on Wednesday nights. The theme is Quest.
Morrison United Methodist Church launches Quest, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Services will continue every other Wednesday evening.
Quest services will be different from the traditional, in terms of worship style and song selections. We intentionally pick contemporary songs that anyone can follow. Pastor Sun-Ah will offer a devotional message.
The name Quest comes from Jesus’s great commands. We are on a quest to love God boldly, love people wholeheartedly, and make disciples faithfully. Quest service will remind people of all the commands through worship. The fellowship afterward will be an additional opportunity to learn more about each other and have fun.
The Quest welcomes everyone–men and women, young and old–who are looking for a safe, comfortable place to learn more about God. Come and check out this first of our twice-a-month Wednesday night worship services.
