Marc Adami noted, “The Whiteside Forum’s Thursday, April 23, 2020, event with Jacob Campbell on ‘Humans and the Environment’ has been postponed. We hope to reschedule sometime during our 20-21 Season, which hopefully will resume by Thursday, September 24. We likely will reschedule Professor. Larry Weber and revisit flooding and water quality issues here in the Midwest, during the upcoming season.
“I would not be surprised if ‘pandemics’ might be one of our topics next season, as well. If the public has any topic or speaker suggestions, please let me know at 815-718-5347. All ideas are welcome.
“We will not be sending out our usual Spring fundraiser mailing this year. Community contributions are still greatly appreciated and useful. We had great attendance at all of our mini-forum events this year, even the book study, which was very encouraging.”
