Whiteside County Clerk Karen Stralow seeks to inform voters, in advance of the upcoming Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election.
Residents who had requested, last month, to be sent an Early Voting ballot have until Monday, March 31, to complete it and take it to the Whiteside County Courthouse. There is an outdoor ballot dropbox by the entrance. Voters may enter the building and take their completed ballot to the County Clerk’s office on the ground floor.
There are many aids and provisions for assistance, for disabled and elderly voters. Her office welcomes inquiries by anyone who feels they may wish to take advantages of these. Contact the County Clerk’s office at 815-772-5189. Hours for Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Stralow urges everyone to take advantage of the right to vote at this election, and to feel free to request assistance from the Election Judges on election day. They are specifically trained to render assistance and welcome the opportunity to be of help.
