Morrison Early Learning Program
The Morrison Early Learning Program at Northside Elementary School, 520 N. Genesee Street, Morrison, IL, will sponsor preschool screenings, for those children who live in the Morrison School District, and who will be three- or four-years-old before September 1, 2023.
As a part of the screening process, the screening team will be using the DIAL-4 Assessment. The DIAL-4 provides a positive, non-threatening environment essential to effective early screening. Children complete fun, age-appropriate tasks using bright, appealing, child-friendly materials.
The DIAL-4 assesses motor skills, concept formation, and language development. In addition to these areas, we will also complete a hearing and vision screening.
All families will be asked to complete a family screening profile and some additional screening material.
Screenings are free of charge and must be scheduled. Parents are asked to call and schedule an appointment with the Northside Elementary School office at 815-772-2153.
