The Morrison Police Department provided the following reminders to our community and especially those playing the Pokémon Go app.
Safety Tips
Plan and prepare your stops before starting.
Be respectful of private property.
Be alert to your surroundings.
Be careful, especially at night.
While operating your mobile electronic device, do not walk, run, or operate a bicycle/any other vehicle.
Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, etc. are prohibited on Main Street in Downtown.
Parents should download the app themselves to be aware of the ga.m.e.
Parents should accompany their children.
Play the ga.m.e with a partner; do not venture out alone.
Curfew: Curfew in Morrison is 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday and midnight to 6:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday. Curfew applies to any person under 17 years of age.
City Park Hours: All parks within Morrison are closed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Grove Hill Cemetery is closed from dusk until dawn. The cemetery and parks are posted with [signs showing] these hours.
