In conjunction with the big “Dutch Bowl,” the Alumni Football Game between the Morrison Mustangs and the Fulton Steamers on Friday, June 27, 2014, an Alumni Band will be formed to play pre-game and half-time programs.
The action takes place at the Morrison High Football Stadium, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. If you are a graduate of Morrison or Fulton High Schools or are currently playing in their junior high or high school bands, you are invited to be a part of this incredible experience.
The alumni band will be co-directed by Mike McCoy (MHS ’82), who is currently Sterling, IL, High School Band Director, and Rich Criss (FHS ’88), Ministry Coordinator and Director of Music at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison.
Cost will be $6 for a t-shirt and the option to make a donation to the school’s band program of your choice.
Participants are asked to please email Rich Criss at richcr@frontiernet.net with their name, school affiliation, and t-shirt size by Friday, June 20. T-shirt money will be collected at the rehearsal, which will be held Thursday, June 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Morrison High School football field.
Music will be provided, as well as percussion instruments. Dust off or borrow those instruments, and come be a part of the fun!
