Phil Chalmers is coming to Morrison, IL, on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Morrison Police Department encourages the public to attend this dynamic presentation on an important topic. For more information, go to www.philchalmers.com.
Chalmers is a youth advocate and a leading authority on youth violence. He is an author and a TV personality, law enforcement trainer, and dynamic speaker. His program for schools, called “True Lies,” addresses the reality and consequences of bullying and other destructive decisions. His presentation is fast-paced and compelling, with “in-your-face bluntness.”
On October 29 during the school day, Chalmers will speak to Junior High students at 9:30 a.m. and then High School students at 1:00 p.m.
That evening, he will provide a public presentation at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at the Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison. This public presentation is for adults only and should last approximately one hour. Those in attendance will be eligible for door prizes that will be drawn during the presentation.
This event has been made possible by generous donations from the community of Morrison and a grant awarded by the Morrison Area Community Foundation.
To contribute toward the speaking fee, make checks payable to Morrison Schools Fundation. This not-for-profit organization will send each donor a receipt for income tax deduction.
