Phil and Pam Morgan to Fill the Valley with Music

Posted by

On Sunday August 9, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., Spring Valley Reformed Church, 10960 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL, welcomes Phil and Pam Morgan.  They are part of their National “Amen” Ministry Tour.  The Amen Project is a Bible study/concert experience about worship.  They continue to share powerful music and testimony that is reaching more people than ever before with God’s message of hope, love, and faithfulness.

Enjoy free Sunday night sundaes, too.

The Morgans began their ministry in 1996.  In June of 2000, their ministry came to a halt, when the couple’s van crashed into a bridge and Pam was thrown onto the roadside.  She suffered multiple injuries, including a broken neck that left her completely paralyzed from the chest down.  After doctors stated she would not walk again, she progressed from being wheelchair-bound to walking unassisted.

The couple’s message is summed up in their signature song, “Take a Stand,” a triumphant theme, considering Pam once was told she would never stand on her own, much less walk again.  Since then, they have released eight CD’s, two videos, and three books.

Their concert will be held outdoors, but will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.  You can listen from your car or bring a lawn chair.  A love offering will be taken.  Call Randy Venema at 815-499-8843 with any questions or visit the church website at https://sites.google.com/site/springvalleyreformedchurch/.
