B100 will be doing a live remote broadcast at the Morrison Homecoming Game on Friday, October 11, 2013, to promote the “Athletic Booster Car Raffle” that Pete Harkness Auto Grpup is sponsoring.
Morrison Athletic Boosters will be at the game selling raffle tickets. Each ticket costs $10. All proceeds go directly into the Athletic Booster fund, which helps pay for various activities and purchase items throughout the school year for Junior High and High School athletics.
This year’s booster raffle car is a 2013 Ford Fiesta with a value of over $17,000.
Ten schools are participating in the Athletic Booster Car Raffle: Morrison, Fulton, Erie, Prophetstown, Rock Falls, Sterling, Newman, Polo, Milledgeville, and Amboy.
The drawing for the car will be on Saturday, February 1, 2014.
Each school will draw three names as their finalists prior to the February 1st drawing.
Morrison Athletic Boosters will give a $100 gas card to each of its three finalists.
