Patricia Ann Appel, 83, of Morrison, IL, died on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Pleasant View Care & Rehabilitation in Morrison.
Patricia was born on April 21, 1939, in Savanna, IL, the daughter of Charles and Katherine (Kauffman) Cravatta. She married Kenneth Appel on March 22, 1958, in Savanna. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1985. In her younger years, Patricia was very involved in the community, often volunteering her time to various organizations. She also enjoyed reading and cross stitching.
Survivors include her children, Diana Appel of Clinton, IA, and Kenneth (Rica) Appel of Byron, IL; brothers, Terry (Judy) Cravatta of Clinton, and Greg (Mary) Cravatta of Genoa, IL; two grandchildren, Danielle Appel of Clinton, and Rebeka Appel of Rockford, IL; one great-grandson, Kenneth.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth; brothers, Charles “Butch” Cravatta and Ronald Cravatta.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville, IL.
Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
