Parks and Recreation Coordinator Katie Selburg reported, “We have made the final decision not to offer any youth sports (Soccer and Flag Football) for the 2020 fall season.
“The most recent Illinois guidelines laid out for youth sports participation in Phase 4 would make our programs very challenging to administer, as well as limit interaction for our participants. All other Parks and Recreation organizations in our area have made this same announcement in the past couple of weeks….We feel that this is the right decision for our community, as well.”
