Pamela A. Decker-Vos, 71, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, March 22, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.
Pamela was born September 19, 1952, in Edison, NJ, to William J. and Louise (Perrette) Davis. Pamela was married to James Eugene “Gene” Decker, Sr. on May 15, 1970, in Peoria, IL; he preceded her in death on May 30, 2012. She later married Robert B. Vos on August 16, 2019, in Morrison. Pam was employed at the General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport, where she earned recognition as Employee of the Month, reflecting her dedication and hard work. She possessed a passion for collecting jewelry and found joy in activities such as reading, cooking, and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; daughter, Holly Decker of Peoria, IL; son, Timothy Decker of Morrison; two stepdaughters, Cassandra (Brandon Snodgrass) Vos of Dixon, IL, and Kaylee (Tyler) Renkes of Fulton, IL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Hankins and Mary Marfell both of Peoria; her loving chihuahua, Coco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Gene; daughter, Kristy J. Davis; son, James Decker, Jr.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Morrison Chapel Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Her graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday April 1, 2024, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL, with Rev. J. T. Bean, Pastor of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, IL, officiating.
A memorial has been established.
