If it rains during Paint the Town, Saturday, September 19, 2015, know that you will have the opportunity to continue the event.
For the first time in 20 years, it did rain last year, but that did not cancel Paint the Town. It won’t this year, either, if the day is rainy. Arrangements will be much the same as last year.
The registration tent is staffed even in the rain. Participants can collect their bags of supplies and event t-shirts there on Saturday. If the weather is severe enough to limit painting on Saturday, bags can be picked up at the Information Tent on Sunday, September 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
If squares are no longer numbered, pick an empty square and paint it!
City of Morrison, IL, streets remain closed to vehicular traffic until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, rain or shine. Painters can work on their squares until that time.
