Because “Art Matters” in Morrison, IL, the Paint the Town Committee selected this phrase as the theme for the Saturday, September 17, 2016, painting event. A second day of events has been added to extend the experience.
The image is a Banksy-inspired canvas mural created earlier this year, by Morrison High School students Corrina Geerts, Allie Mitchell, Makenzie Renkes, and Laura Zuidema. It was selected as the event t-shirt design.
