The Loft of Main will host a “drop-in” ornament painting party between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Please stop by any time; there is no charge.
This creative endeavor is planned for humans of any age. The location is 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. Create a unique piece of art to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.
About 500, unadorned ornaments will be made of salt clay (flour, salt, and water.) Choose from seasonal shapes: snowperson, bell, star, tree, wreath, gingerbread person, teddy bear, circle, or heart. Each will be enlivened with supplied tempera paint, donated by CAPA. You may leave them to dry in the gallery.
