Beginning Friday, May 29, 2020, The Loft of Main, 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, offers window shopping experiences with curbside pickup. Storefront windows currently display the work of 42 artists.
Customers will call Board member Sharon Boyles at 815-718-3682 to purchase an item and schedule a time for pickup. Contact Boyles any day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; leave a message with questions or special requests.
When an item is purchased payment will be computed over the phone. Pay by credit card at that time or with a completed, local check when the item is picked up.
Art work will be prepared with protective paper (not gift wrap), tissue paper, or bubble wrap and placed into a bag.
Customers will not enter the building. When someone arrives for outside pickup, a face mask is requested, if possible.
Purchases also may be made Saturday, May 30, in the same manner. Beginning in June, shopping/pickup days will be Thursday-through-Saturday. However, Boyles welcomes phone purchases on other days, for art-in-a-hurry situations. She often will be in the gallery when people call.
If you are outside The Loft on Main, call her to hold up other art created by your requested artist.
