In late March, thoughts of gardens and planting fields, spring wardrobe and shoe changes, and Easter Egg hunts may be occupying people’s minds. However, there are eight Morrison High School Senior Cheerleaders who are preparing for Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 22, 2018. The girls will hold their first-of-several fundraisers to help with expenses, during their participation in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, in New York City, NY.
Seven of the Cheerleaders have organized an appetizing fundraiser. They now are selling breakfast burritos, locally made by Take it to Go. Burritos are $20 per dozen, individually wrapped, and frozen. Meat, eggs, and cheese are wrapped in a tortilla shell. Choose your meat option–sausage, ham, or bacon–or opt for a variety dozen, with four of each meat.
Orders are being taken until Friday, April 6, with delivery on Friday, April 13.
Fundraisers cover a portion of the costs to perform in the holiday event, including hotel expenses; parade sweatshirt, jacket, and uniform; food.
To place an order, please call Kelly at 815-441-2071 on behalf of these cheerleaders: Cassie, Hannah, Megan, McKenna, McKenzie, Meghan, and Peyton. Orders will be applied evenly to each of these members.
