Start the new year by attending an informal, free concert featuring local musicians.
The first Open Mic Night of 2013 will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 8, at Baked by Liz, 119 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL.
Each Tuesday, owner Liz Fischbach supports musicians including her son, Alex, and regular entertainers Greg Pruis and Mitch Seeger, among others.
“The sound is great!” stated Pruis, one of several acoustic guitar players.
The intimate venue is just the right size, but sometimes becomes crowded with enthusiastic listeners. Sign along if you wish!
