Two indispensible and dedicated employees of Shawver Press will be feted at an Open House on Thursday, June 12, 2014. MaryEllen Brackemyer has been employed 40 years. Steve Siefken began work 50 years ago, as soon as he completed Morrison High School.
Together they have designed and printed high-quality newspapers, stationery, books, photographs, labels, signs, business cards, wedding items, and promotional materials of a wide variety. Their products are all around us.
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the public can celebrate the pair’s strong work ethic at the Whiteside News Sentinel office, 100 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. Enjoy a piece of cake, too.
