The Morrison Community Hospital Counseling Department welcomes our new Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ms. Olivia Carrow. In 2019, she received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Bard College in New York State. Her major emphasis of study was German. Carrow is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois.
She has received specialized training in EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. These compatible treatment methods are effective in treatments of adolescents in group residential facilities. They are powerful for dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse, and other disorders.
