Odell Summer Reading and Art Contest

Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, welcomes local youth to enjoy these two events.

Saturday, May 28, 2022, is the deadline for required registration, for the upcoming “Oceans of Possibilities” Summer Reading Club. It is designed for children age three through current eighth grade. Club members will pick up a packet of activities each week to complete at home.

Activities begin Monday, June 13. In order to qualify for prizes, children must return their completed materials by Saturday, July 16.

Register at www.odellpubliclibrary.com by May 28.

Currently, Odell Public Library is hosting a Coloring Contest sponsored by Morrison Garden Club. Pick up an age-appropriate coloring page for your child/children: 3-5, 6-8, or 9-10. Completed pictures are due at the library by Saturday, June 18.

Rules:
Entries must be the child’s own work, on the official coloring page provided for their age group.
Only one entry per child is allowed.
Any art media may be used (crayon, marker, colored pencil, paint, etc.)
The back of the page must contain the child’s name and age; a contact name and phone number.
