November is Native American Heritage Month–also known as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. It was recognized Federally in the United States in 1990. Odell Staff gathered these 19 books for readers. They were written to inform, enlighten, and/or entertain readers about the history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous people.
