Let’s read, Morrison!
Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., is the date and time for a bargain in books and baked goods. Come and browse at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
The Community Room of the library complex will be filled with books, all for the low price of 25 to 50 cents! Filled as a warehouse, the books will be divided into
- mysteries
- romances
- best sellers
- non-fiction
- children’s books
- videos
- old 33 rpm records.
Popular authors will be grouped for the consumer’s convenience. Looking for Nora Roberts, James Patterson, Danielle Steele, Clive Cussler, David Baldacci, Maeve Binchy? We have them and more!
Not only will there be books, also perchase items from tables full of tempting baked goods. These items are all from the kitchens of Morrison’s talented bakers:
- brownies
- pies
- cakes
- rolls
- cookies
- bars and more.
What a “sweet” deal: a good book and a mouth-watering cookie! All proceeds will benefit your community library’s book budget.
