Dear Morrison Citizens:
We invite you and to support and participate in the second annual Morrison Life Chain formed by Pro-Life Christians. Life Chain has been an annual event since 1987, both Nationally and worldwide. This year we here in Morrison, IL, hope to build a stronger bond in our Christian community, by peacefully, prayerfully, and publicly honoring pre-born children and their mothers. This event will take place at 2:00 p.m., on the afternoon of Sunday, October 9, 2022. Join others along the grassy, northwest corner of N. Jackson Street and E. Lincolnway.
The website states, “LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals, standing for 90 minutes praying for our Nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community, that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death.” You can learn more by going to the Life Chain website at lifechain.net.
