October 30 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, October 30, 2020.

Arrests:  On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at approximately 8:55 p.m., Morrison Police received a report from Yarbrough Appliance, 227 W. Main Street, Morrison, of a possibly theft from their business.  Yarbrough Appliance had filed another recent report of theft that was also being investigated.  As a result of the investigation and this most-recent complaint, Morrison Police located the suspect vehicle traveling eastbound on U. S. Route 30.  Morrison Police, with assistance from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, stopped the suspect vehicle near Regan Drive, Rock Falls, IL.  Steven K. Argraves, age 48 of Sterling, IL, was arrested and charged with Theft (Under $500.)  Argraves was issued a Notice to Appear for December 7, 2020, and released.
