On 10-14-19 at 4:45 p.m., Rutilio G. Portillo, age 27 of Bellevue, NE, was stopped on Interstate 88 at mile marker 36 for Speeding 100/70 MPH. Portillo was cited for Speeding 26-34 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit and given a mandatory court date.
On 10-18-19 at 12:07 p.m., Maritheresa Dove, age 49 of Clnton, IA, was cited for Failure to Yield Stationary Emergency Vehicle (Scott’s Law) on U. S. Route 30 near Hillside Road. She was released with a mandatory court appearance.
On 10-18-19 at 2:12 p.m., Joseph M. D. VanZuiden, age 21 of Morrison, IL, was stopped on IL Route 78 near Rock Road for Speeding 98/55 MPH. VanZuiden was cited for Speeding 35 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit and given a mandatory court date.
On 10-18-19 at 4:15 p.m., Fernando J. Barrera, age 22 of Sioux City, IA, was stopped for Speeding 97/70 MPH on Interstate 88 near mile marker 27. He was cited for Speeding 26-34 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit and given a mandatory court date.
On 10-19-19 at 5:20 p.m., Robert W. Neis, age 55 of Aurora, IL, was stopped for Speeding 85/55 MPH on U.S. Route 30 near Yorktown Road. Neis was cited for Speeding 26-34 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit and given a mandatory court date.
On 10/19/19 at 2:55 p.m., Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on westbound Interstate 88 near mile marker 36, for speed and Scott’s Law violation. Upon further investigation, Hao Jiang, age 41 of Chicago, was cited for 97 MPH in a 70 MPH zone and Failure to yield one lane to an emergency vehicle (Scott’s Law.) Hao was released on scene with a Notice to Appear.
On 10-19-19 at 3:50 p.m., Brock L. Tedrick, age 23 of Sterling, IL, was stopped on Interstate 88 for Speeding, No Front Registration Plate, and Tinted Windows. He was arrested on a Body Attachment Warrant, bonded, and released pending a future court date. A Written Warning was issued for the other violations.
