Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Thursday, October 15, 2015.
Arrests:
On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at approximately 12:35 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Ryan W. Belcher, age 29 of Morrison, IL, charging Belcher with Harassment through Electronic Communications. This arrest was the result of a complaint and the subsequent investigation of phone harassment. Belcher was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Robert J. White, age 23 of Clinton, IA, on W. Lincolnway for a moving violation. As a result of the traffic stop, White was arrested for Use of Electronic Device While Driving, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Driving While License Suspended, and an Arrest Warrant, issued by Stephenson County, charging White with Failure to Appear–Driving While License Suspended. White was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
