Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, November 7, 2014.
Arrests:
On Saturday, November 8, 2014, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Morrison Police responded to the area of E. Morris Street and the Odell Public Library, regarding a possible assault that had occurred. As part of the investigation, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Todd A. Morthland, age 47 of Morrison, IL, in the area of S. Cherry Street and E. Park Street. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Morthland for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Morthland was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
