November 23 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

11-08-15 at 4:15 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies were called to investigate a domestic issue in Rock Falls, IL.  Upon further investigation, Ryan J. Silva age 25 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery-Strangulation as well as Domestic Battery.  Silva was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond.  Rock Falls Police Department and Sterling Police Department assisted in the investigation.

11-16-15 at 5:40 p.m.  Candace D. Maze, age 46 of Savanna, IL, was arrested following a traffic stop in Morrison, IL, for two outstanding warrants, Carroll County-Theft and Stephenson County-Forgery.  She was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail pending extradition.

11-21-15 at 4:27 a.m.  Sathaphone Chanthadouangsy, age 42 of Aurora, IL, was stopped in Morrison, IL, for a stop sign violation.  He was arrested for Disobeying a Stop Sign and No Valid Registration and given a written warning for No Turn Signal When Required, Disobeying a Stop Sign (second one), Fraudulent Use of Registration, and Expired Driver’s License.

11-21-15 at 7:49 p.m.  Phillip H. Griffith, age 27 of Rock Falls, IL, was stopped for a headlight violation on Interstate 88 at milepost 26.  Phillip was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and bonded on scene.  He was also issued a written warning for the headlight violation as well as Failure to Notify the Secretary of State of an address change.

11-21-15 at 9:43 p.m.  Lane R. J. Brewster, age 31 of Fulton, IL, was stopped on IL Route 84 north of Fulton.  He was arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle with a written warning for Inoperative Rear Registration Light and Failure to Notify the Secretary of State of an address change.

11-22-15 at 12:26 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to assist the Rock Falls Police Department a large fight in progress.  Upon further investigation, Deputies arrested Blaze M. Hollaway, age 23 of Rock Falls, IL, for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, Aggravated Battery Public Place, as well as Resisting/Obstructing.  Hollaway was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond.  Rock Falls and Sterling Police Departments assisted on scene.
