At 8:00 a.m., The Loft on Main, 112 E. Main Street, opened for Third Thursday, on November 21, 2024. Outside, the temperature was 31°, and light snow would soon occur. However in the art gallery, the temperature, drinks, and conversations were warm among 22 visitors.

Left-to-right, Jean Zinnen watched painter Theresa Brandon colorize Alpacas from her sketchbook; retired Art Teacher Ned Nesti, Jr. listened to their conversation. Standing are metal sculptor Charles Yost and painter Joan Vander Bleek. Monica Anderson and Wally Peterson are seated.
Seated left-to-right are Paul Vankampen, J B Benko, and fabric artist Sharon Boyles. Mark Zinnen stood to listen.
Other visitors before 10:00 a.m. included Andrea Dalton, Marcia Haag, Martha Kophamer, Pat McGarvey, Patricia Pessman, and Stephanie Vavra.
Christmas art was gathered for sale–jewelry, stained glass, note cards, wrought iron ornaments, and a dynamic forest of 15 “spalted” birch conifers.
